SUMMARY:
This is a sales position
based in Mequon, WI and involves managing all aspects of run rate programs
along with working directly with an assigned Business Development Manager(s)
to help migrate sales opportunities into run rate customers. Travel is
expected to be around 35% of time or less.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is

Engage with the Business
Development Manager to identify, qualify and pursue new customer
opportunities within existing accounts or with new target OEMs.

Partnering with the
Business Development Manager, to move sales funnel opportunities to run
rate business. Including customer visits, coordinating engineering
reviews, developing proposals, and scheduling customer audits.
-
Manage the program
development cycle.
-
Work closely with all
functional activities – engineering, procurement, quality and
operations.
-
Create and maintain
detailed Program Action Plans for all program activities.
-
Travel to customer sites
for Quarterly Business Reviews.
-
Review end-of-life
trackers and manage transition to the recommended replacement.
-
Monitor profitability,
purchase plans and perform competitive analysis.
-
Manage individual
quarterly travel budgets.
-
Monitor sales revenue
and push to meet and exceed quarterly sales goals.

Account Manager (Sales)

SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision from the Director of Program Management, assume
responsibility for day-to-day operational management of all activities and
functions in a designated sales account program; managing customer accounts,
order processing, customer service, and run rate business functions; and perform
related work as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Enter customer orders
for systems, components, and service parts. Provide quotations when
necessary.
-
Obtain purchase orders
from customer in a timely manner and follow guidelines of customer
purchasing programs and agreements.
-
Maintain bookings
including customer forecast fluctuations, monitor orders, and manage late
shipments and backlog.
-
Assist AR department
with invoice discrepancies and customer payment issues.
-
Collect forecast
information for existing programs.
-
Work with Program
Management to maintain customer Program Files.
-
Work directly with the
Customer and Granite Engineering, Production, Procurement and Quality
personnel to ensure consistent production and quality of existing programs.
-
Coordinate Granite
engineering support for existing programs.
-
Process ECRs
(Engineering Change Requests) and obtain customer approval for ECRs.
-
Manage all RMA orders
and requirements.
-
Track quality data for
existing programs and coordinate RMA information related to a tracker for
major programs.
-
Working with Program
Management, ensure monthly updates of End-Of-Life tracker are posted to web
site for major customers.
-
Proactively consider and
promote revenue enhancement programs with all Granite departments.
-
Assist Program Managers
as needed with production phase-in of new customer programs.
OTHER DUTIES AND

evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepares a
variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives and other

program to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that
goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being
accomplished efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as
necessary.

Develops and implements systems to maintain records on sales, sales
forecast, bookings and review meetings.
